TV studio technology

These racks contain the electronic equipment needed for the whole TV studio chain, from the camera to the transmitter - various electronic switches, synchronisation impulse generators, color signal coders and decoders, camera units, test pattern generators and other. The TV studio buildings in Kavčí Hory in Prague were full of such racks. The equipment produced a lot of waste heat, which was dissipated using air conditioning. The original project of the TV studios planned to use the heat to warm the big swimming pool in Podolí.
