Here you can see the TV monitors used by the Czechoslovak and Czech TV from its beginnings almost until recent time. Tesla TMC 403 (1960 - 1967) - Black-and-white TV monitor, fully using vacuum tubes, but also the new printed circuit technology. The diagonal of the screen is 35 cm. These monitors were used in the TV production truck koda 706 RTO. Tesla TMD 306 (1967 - 1973) - Black-and-white TV monitor using vacuum tubes and printed circuits, with a more modern case. The diagonal is 47 cm. Tesla MB 301 (1984 - 1991) - Black-and-white monitor using a Soviet picture tube with 23 cm diagonal. The prototype of a color monitor manufactured probably in 1969 in the Research Facility of Radio and Television in Prague-Vokovice. This unique specimen was acquired from the courtesy of Ing. Vladimír Vít, a famous pioneer of the Czechoslovak TV technology. No other specimen is known to exist. |
