Tesla 4206U Astra

The Astra was a member of a new line of TV receivers produced by Tesla Pardubice, which succeeded the Akvarel / Athos line, which offered fairly good performance, but was expensive to produce. The new line uses modern series-heated vacuum tubes and ferrite materials, similarly to the Tesla Mánes TV produced by Tesla Strašnice. The sound part is notably well engineered, the TV has two loudspeakers. The TV is also equipped with keyed automatic gain control, which ensures good contrast ratio of the image, and a socket for cable remote control of volume and brightness. An interesting feature is a diagnostics connector.
