Description:

The first Tesla tape recorder for domestic use. Half-track, three-head, 19,05 or 9,5 cm/s speed. It was also used in the Jubilant music console. It is adjusted for the "Supraphon L" tape. This tape has the magnetic material dispersed in the whole thickness of the tape, so it was easier to produce, but the frequency response was very limited - to 7 kHz at 19,05 cm/s on this tape recorder. More modern tapes have the magnetic material placed in a thin layer that is positioned on a plastic carrier.
