Triode RD200B

Description:

Radiation-cooled triode for frequencies up to 60 MHz. Heating parameters 10,8 V / 4 A, maximal anode voltage 3500 V, max. anode dissipation 200 W. These tube were employed in Tesla radio transmitters of all power classes, mainly as low-frequency modulators. Two of these tubes connected in class B push-pull amplifier could supply up to 800 W of audio frequency power. These tubes operated as the driver of the modulator stage at the Dobrochov radio transmitter until 2021. You can also see them in the Tesla SRV 3 transmitter, which is placed in the ground floor of our museum and uses them in its modulator too. They were also frequently used in cable radio amplifiers.
