BM211 Q-meter

This instrument served for measurements of quality factor in coils. The quality (Q) factor is related to the losses of energy in the coil. In some cases, such as in a tuned circuit in a radio, the losses shall be as low as possible. The losses are dependent on the shape of the coil, quality of materials, operating frequency etc.
