Tesla 710A

Stereo mini system composed of a tuner, an amplifier, a tape recorder and speakers. It was possible to add a turntable that would fit the system. The design of the tuner is similar to the 820A radio receiver. The tape recorder uses a mechanics based on the B60 type of the 1960s. An interesting feature of the mechanics is that the cassette slides to the side when the door is opened. Frequency response goes up to 13 000 Hz with a chrome cassette. It has a manual or automatic record level control, automatic stop and noise limiter. The weak point of this beautiful and attractive system was the amplifier that produced a lot of noise because of unsuitable East German integrated circuits in the tone controls.
