BM223 generator

This generator produces radio frequencies from 30 kHz to 30 MHz. Basically, it is a small transmitter with AM modulation. Such a generator was a necessary equipment of every radio factory. It was used to adjust the tuned circuits in the radio. Smaller versions of these generators were manufactured for radio repair services. In English-speaking world, these large, heavy instruments are called "boat anchors".
