Philips Argenta light bulb

Description:

A large prewar light bulb for factories etc., several hundreds of watts power. The white glass was manufactured by adding bone meal to the glass composition. "Argenta" was the trademark of the Philips company for this kind of light bulbs. Today's matte light bulbs do not have the glass colored by adding a white powder, but by sandblasting or etching the inner surface.
