Tesla 2800B T58

Handheld nine-transistor radio for 6 V battery operation. The first Czechoslovak transistor radio receiver. Considering the fact that the first transistor radio in the world was made just four years earlier, the production of the T58 was a major technological success. The radio had competitive parameters, was manufactured in large numbers and could be bought for an affordable price. It contains a ferrite antenna, the maximal power consumption was 300 mW, 100 mW output power. The radio was also exported to Western countries under the "Comet 9 Commodore" name.
