Tesla 314B Lunik

The first Tesla tabletop transistor radio. It was powered with batteries. A tube radio 320A Sputnik with mains power was manufactured in the same cabinet. It had somewhat better parameters, but also drew more than 40x the amount of power than Lunik. Despite the unquestionable benefits of the transistors, Tesla Bratislava has been manufacturing tube radios until 1974, so more than ten years after the introduction of Lunik.
